x11-misc/read-edid builds an works on ~sparc (tested on SunBlade 100) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
~sparc added. I note, however, that this package claims to install a utility get-edid which actually collects monitor information. For me, it does not. Does it do so for you, and if not, what do you use the parse-edid program for? (Yes, lm_sensors needs the package, but I am not sure what it can do with it.)
get-edid is not installed on amd64 either. Here's the output on an amd64: cbrill@cb ~ $ qlist read-edid /usr/sbin/parse-edid /usr/share/doc/read-edid-1.4.1-r1/AUTHORS.bz2 /usr/share/doc/read-edid-1.4.1-r1/NEWS.bz2 /usr/share/doc/read-edid-1.4.1-r1/README.bz2 /usr/share/doc/read-edid-1.4.1-r1/LRMI.bz2 /usr/share/doc/read-edid-1.4.1-r1/ChangeLog.bz2 It is only installed on x86: cbrill@fileserver ~ $ qlist read-edid /usr/sbin/parse-edid /usr/sbin/get-edid /usr/share/doc/read-edid-1.4.1-r1/AUTHORS.bz2 /usr/share/doc/read-edid-1.4.1-r1/NEWS.bz2 /usr/share/doc/read-edid-1.4.1-r1/README.bz2 /usr/share/doc/read-edid-1.4.1-r1/LRMI.bz2 /usr/share/doc/read-edid-1.4.1-r1/ChangeLog.bz2 I'm not sure it is a problem. I only needed the dependency for lm_sensors.
