www-apache/mod_jk-1.2.25 compile fails with 

configure: error: Invalid location for apxs: '/usr/sbin/apxs2'

apache version is 2.2.6-r7

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge mod_jk
2.
3.

Actual Results:  
emerge dies

Expected Results:  
emerge completes
