Description Thomas Heiserowski 2003-05-08 06:44:31 UTC
Using -f is useful for downloading somewhere and compiling overnight at home.
It is contra-productive to not check for correct md5sums when using this command since I will only find corrupted files when actually emerging the selected packages.
My proposal is to implement a md5sum check when the -f option is specified. This solves the problem and will be very useful in the future.
