See attached URL for official news (it's almost a year since then). It seems that the package should be at least masked, and probably scheduled to be removed.
We are not masking packages that have no open bugs just because upstream vanished...
But please not that it is a statistics collector for a project which is now officially closed. It is explicitly written on the webpage that clients are now nonfunctional. IMHO it would make sense to mask it or schedule removal.
