hi! i did not wish to post separate messages for the two packages, since they're related anyway. - net-misc/neon-0.23.8 builds and runs fine here on my powerbook g3/firewire. maybe it should go ~ppc - dev-util/subversion-0.21.0-r1 builds fine in client mode, provided the python bindings are not built. why not make that dependent on the python USE-flag? subversion does not in itself require python to either build or run, afaik. - i cannot say about the server mode (i.e. with USE=apache2), since i do not need that on my ppc. I'm on holiday for a week. If it is not done so before I'll change the subversion ebuild to use the python useflag when I'm back.
The new 0.22.2 ebuild provides the functionality. Please test it.
I don't own a ppc computer so maybe some ppc dev could check it out and include ppc flags.
