Opera 7.11-TP5 is more stable than 7.10-beta1: http://snapshot.opera.com/unix/intel-linux/395-20030429-7.11-TP5/ Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
Here is a newer version: ftp://ftp.opera.com/pub/opera/linux/711/beta2/en/i386/static
Created attachment 11748 [details] opera-7.11_beta2.ebuild Yeah it is more stable than beta1 (beta2 correctly renders some of the pages that beta1 can't).
A new version can be downloaded. 20030512 instead of 20030509 Just modify the variable NV to the following in the ebuild.
NV=7.11-20030512.${OPERA_VERSION}.i386
the final version of 7.11 seems to be released now: ftp://ftp.opera.com/pub/opera/linux/711/final/
Here is the full address: -ftp://ftp.opera.com/pub/opera/linux/711/final/en/i386/static/opera-7.11-20030515.1-static-qt.i386.tar.bz2 -ftp://ftp.opera.com/pub/opera/linux/711/final/en/i386/static/opera-7.11-20030515.1-static-qt.i386.rpm
Hmm, there seems to be a linux/ppc version there, too. No official announcement yet, though...
No, this is the final i386 version. I tested the RPM under Redhat with my AthlonXP.
Committed. Thanks for the report. p.s. Mamoru, in the future, if you only make a minimal change to the ebuild, please submit a patch (aka diff) instead of pasting the whole thing. This way is easier for the developer to quickly see what was changed. Thanks again.
All right, I'll do that next time :-) Thank you!
