the redhat-artwork package (0.65) puts its XFree 4.3 cursor themes in /usr/share/icons/Bluecurve and /usr/share/icons/Bluecurve-inverse. these directories need to be linked into /usr/share/cursors/xfree so that user configuration files can specify "Inherits=bluecurve". example links: ( ljb@noa ) $ ls -l bluecurve* /usr/share/cursors/xfree lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 21 May 4 23:38 bluecurve -> ../../icons/Bluecurve/ lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 29 May 4 23:39 bluecurve-inverse -> ../../icons/Bluecurve-inverse/ although this only modifies some of the cursors used, maybe a later version of redhat-artwork will substitute all the cursors in most of the apps. this is actually fixed in 0.73, which i guess should move to stable now ..
someone beat me to bumping it to stable. this issue is pretty much closed then
