The installation handbook needs to be updated for new kernels. The USB HID option has moved to a new submenu. Not sure when it changed but I noticed it while configuring 2.6.23-r3.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:




The current docs say:
Device Drivers --->
  USB Support --->
    <*>   USB Human Interface Device (full HID) support

But this option has moved to:
Device Drivers --->
  HID Devices --->
    <*>   USB Human Interface Device (full HID) support
