is that the whole error? i don't see anything wrong off hand and the ebuild looks fine (it could use check_wxuse instead of built_with_use but that's not a problem ;))

Looks like kicad needs a really good cleanup. I'll work on this at some point but it's not at the top of my list right now. Denis.
it would help to have the call stack and the die message as well to narrow down where the error comes from.
This ebuild was removed as part of massive cleanup. Please try the latest one where this should be fixed. Denis.
