Good that you failed to even mention the version...
Comment 2 Captain Sifff 2008-02-27 22:24:51 UTC
Release 3.2.1 of Aqbanking is actual now
Comment 3 Hanno Böck gentoo-dev 2008-02-28 19:01:07 UTC
There are ebuilds in my overlay. For portage, it's not really ready for primetime as long as
a) there is no commandline interface to aqbanking
b) gnucash is not ported

If you want it, grab my overlay:
svn co https://svn.hboeck.de/overlay
Comment 4 Daniel Gerstner 2008-03-01 08:09:08 UTC
Why gnucash is not ported?
gnucash-2.2.3 needs aqbanking < 2.9. In the last line of "What's New in GnuCash 2.2.3" I read this:
"Use aqbanking pkg-config file and require < v2.9, allow goffice v0.6"

aqbanking 3.4.2 is out in the meantime (since today, sorry, this isn't supposed to be a 0day request).
Downloads moved from sourceforge to aquamaniac.de, which unfortunately doesn't provide static links, only a dynamic download.php which takes package/release/file as a number (and ${P} only as a "dummy" variable which doesn't have any effect).

I contacted upstream about this, answer pending. Will report back if I get any ;)

Unfortunately upstream seems convinced that giving direct access to the files would pose a security risk, and doesn't want to change his system (since some Debian tool can also parse the website for URLs, "so why can't Gentoo?").

I guess Hanno has to keep mirroring the files :P

Comment 7 Hanno Böck gentoo-dev 2008-06-11 14:14:45 UTC
added as a masked package till gnucash is ported
