when emerging sun-j2sdk I consistently receive message digest errors. I deleted the downloaded file as requested, retried and the same thing happend. This has been happening for the last weeks, even after several 'emerge sync' and even changing of mirros. this is a known problem with that mirror, which is why HTTP is not listed as a supported protocol for that mirror on our mirrors page: http://www.gentoo.org/main/en/mirrors.xml marking as cantfix.
thanks for the quick response, I removed all mirrors except : http://ftp.snt.utwente.nl/pub/os/linux/gentoo and http://distro.ibiblio.org/gentoo did emerge sync, emerge sun-j2sdk - a 40 Mb file is downloaded, but the message digest does not match. Anything else I should check, remove, ... ?
