So configure it to be rotated in /etc/logrotate.conf or /etc/logrotate.d/ or whatever? I don't even have such log.
Hi "Jakub Moc" funny guy... What kind of loging deamon You have (from: http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/handbook/handbook-x86.xml?part=1&chap=9) * sysklogd * syslog-ng * metalog Did You have started sysklogd daemon before saying: RESOLVED WORKSFORME
(In reply to comment #2) > Did You have started sysklogd daemon before saying: RESOLVED WORKSFORME Why should I do such things, I don't even use sysklogd. If you want something rotated, then configure logrotate to rotate the thing and it will be rotated, that's what the configuration files are there for...

If you want something I don't know why you replaying here.... > rotated, then configure logrotate to rotate the thing and it will be rotated, > that's what the configuration files are there for... ... and USE linux from scratch... Maybe You can explain why gentoo has logrotate USE flag? and why net-ftp/vsftpd has logrotate USE flag, and when this flag is enabled then makes /etc/logrotate.d/vsftpd file?
so submit a logrotate snippet ... i dont use logrotate or sysklogd so i cant really provide anything
i didn't have one. And no time to write one.
fixed in sysklogd-1.5
