So you're aware - both you and Steve are people I'd like to put in an official development position for app-sci. However, right now we have a new developer freeze in place while we revamp policy and training to accomodate an influx of new developers, so you guys'll have to wait a little bit. (This bug is for me to help track what your current status is so I don't forget - my memory sucks.)
Still alive? Haven't heard much from you recently. We're one again able to give accounts to new developers, by the way.
Thanks for the check in, avenj. And thank you for the kind nomination. I remain as interested in developing a bioinformatics angle for gentoo as ever, however I'm ramping up my role in a new post I just started here in Scotland in March. The reality is that I won't be able to contribute at the level of developer until sometime next year. Though I hope to add things where and when I can, as I have previously. Best Regards
