Hi,

today I commit net-misc/vpnc-0.5.1-r1 which has a new init script.  It allows executing scripts before/after start-up/shutdown, which is documented in a patch for vpnc-howto.xml to be attached here.
Honestly I don't want to wait for stabilisation of -r1 as I mentioned the version numbers in the guide from when a special feature is available.

Fixed in CVS.

Note, however, that I'm extremely uncomfortable with documents that just assume the user is running the ~arch version of a package. I hope that vpnc version gets stabilized soon.

 All features I added have a explicit version referrer in the howto, so people can easily spot it....and yes I will stabilise vpnc as soon as possible.
