Not sure whether this should be a new bug, but it seems to me that dev-libs/DirectFB-1.1.1 should becomes stable at the same time, at least on x86: When I compiled with the currently stable dev-libs/DirectFB-0.9.25.1 and media-libs/libsdl-1.2.11-r2 (with USE=directfb), even after recompiling these two packages, I always receive /usr/lib/libSDL.so: undefined reference to `DirectFBCreate' /usr/lib/libSDL.so: undefined reference to `DirectFBError' /usr/lib/libSDL.so: undefined reference to `DirectFBErrorString' /usr/lib/libSDL.so: undefined reference to `DirectFBInit' No such problem after upgrading to DirectFB-1.1.1
Totally nothing to do with amarok.
