I want to use NTFSProgs package to r/w in my ntfs partitions.

The problem is that the ebuild don't take into account that the fuse module now is inside the kernel sources from version 2.6.23.

What do you mean? FUSE support has been in kernel for ages, how's that related to ntfsprogs?

probably confused ntfsprogs and ntfs3g
and besides, in-kernel fuse isn't much without the userspace lib, so it still needs to depend on fuse
