The iBATIS Data Mapper framework makes it easier to use a database with Java and .NET applications. iBATIS couples objects with stored procedures or SQL statements using a XML descriptor. Simplicity is the biggest advantage of the iBATIS Data Mapper over object relational mapping tools. dependency of spring
Created attachment 183307 [details] ebuild for ibatis, same version as shipped with spring-framework-2.5.6 The command jar tf j2ee.jar returns an error about size mismatch, file a bug? Only class javax.transaction.UserTransaction from j2ee needed, better solution?
Created attachment 183485 [details] java-overlay worthy version of the ebuild Changes: 1. Eliminates use of third party mirror 2. Replaced sun-j2ee with dev-java/jta (all we need and not broken). 3. Building javadoc from source. 4. Added einfo to separate compiler and javadoc output. 5. Building classpath inline. Quit a bit of changes, what sleeping over it after posting can help, hm. So now it's ready for testing I say. PS: I saw there was already a bug filed for the broken j2ee.jar
An updated version of the ebuild can be found in the java-experimental overlay: https://overlays.gentoo.org/proj/java/browser/java-experimental/dev-java/ibatis/ibatis-2.3.4.726.ebuild
"apache ibatis is retired at the apache software foundation (2010/06/16)"
On the other hand, there's this: http://blog.mybatis.org/
Thank you Andreas for investigating. There's little point in packaging it if the ASF has retired the project. myibatus looks look a different software and a separate bug should be filed if the bug author still wants it. Closing this bug.
*myibatis *looks like :/
