Description James 2007-12-21 23:55:36 UTC
Is there a problem with mjpegtools 1.9.0...? Or can we remove the dependancy from the mytharchive ebuilds on <media-video/mjpegtools-1.8.99999? I've been using it under x86 since version 0.20.1_p14146, so far no problems.
Thanks

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge mytharchive
2.
3.

Actual Results:
[ebuild UD] media-video/mjpegtools-1.8.0-r2 [1.9.0_rc3] USE="X gtk png quicktime sdl -dga -dv (-mmx) -v4l -yv12" 0 kB
[ebuild N ] media-plugins/mytharchive-0.20.2_p14807 USE="mmx -debug" 0 kB

Expected Results:
emerge using current mjpegtools

http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/index.php/MythArchive doesn't list any problems, I don't see anyting in bugs.gentoo.org, I'm sorry if I'm missing something. Thanks

Yes. Upstream says there's issues with the generation of the DVD menu preview images. It was reported by users in their upstream bug tracker and Gentoo's bugzilla as well.
