During post-'emacs removal' cleanup (finally) I noticed that /usr/share/emacs/site-lisp dir was owned by two packages, one of them was gpm. It doesn't seem like it actually installed anything there, but qfile was reporting it as one of the owners.

make whatever emacs-related changes you want in gpm ... i dont use/know/care emacs
