Description Torsten Krah 2007-12-21 13:29:11 UTC
Try to add a desktop starter with xfce4.
After inserting a letter in one of the fields (e.g. name) it crashs and outputs this to console:

(exo-desktop-item-edit:13680): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_utf8_casefold: assertion `str != NULL' failed

exo version: 0.3.4
glib version: 2.14.3

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Add Starter app.
2. Type some letters.
3.

Actual Results:
It crashs with the message above.

Expected Results:
I should be able to create a new starter icon on the xfce desktop.

Comment 1 Christoph Mende (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-11-06 12:59:20 UTC
does this still happen with latest exo/glib?
Comment 2 Torsten Krah 2008-11-06 13:11:15 UTC
No. This can be closed, fixed by upstream i guess.
