Description Nicolai Stange 2007-12-20 10:54:12 UTC
Hi,
my pidgin looses my ICQ account every time when I restart it, but only if I say "Save password". If I tell it the password everytime everything goes well.
Note that the .purple/accounts.xml still holds the account with ICQ UIN and password.

Thank you

Nicolai

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a new ICQ account, tell pidgin to remember my password
2. Stop it, start it

Actual Results:
No ICQ account avaiable in pidgin anymore

Expected Results:
There should be my new account

Sorry, I forgot 'pidgin --version':
Pidgin 2.3.1

I have this problem whenever there is an error when I exit pidgin. The easiest way to test this is to simply shut down networking before eitting pidgin. Every account in .purple/accounts.xml will contain a <current_error> entry upon restart. Deleting these entries will make pidgin detect the accounts upon next restart.

definitely an upstream problem
