Description DEMAINE Benoît-Pierre, aka DoubleHP 2007-12-15 12:33:08 UTC
while compiling libgcrypt-1.4.0-r1 I get ewarn message reported by enotice:

Package: libgcrypt-1.4.0-r1
 * Please read http://www.gnupg.org/(en)/faq/why-not-idea.html

 * IDEA
 * you have compiled libgcrypt with support for the IDEA algorithm, this code
 * is distributed under the GPL in countries where it is permitted to do so
 * by law.
 *
 * Please read http://www.gnupg.org/(en)/faq/why-not-idea.html for more information.
 *
 * If you are in a country where the IDEA algorithm is patented, you are permitted
 * to use it at no cost for 'non revenue generating data transfer between private
 * individuals'.
 *
 * Countries where the patent applies are listed here

 *
 * Further information and other licenses are availble from http://www.mediacrypt.com/

Bug is about the second URL, starting with http://www.mediacrypt.com/

Actually, right now, for me, http://www.mediacrypt.com/ says in FireFox:
Bad Request (Invalid Hostname)

Up to you to check if it's a temp bug, or else, but, in any way, an ebuild should not refer to a non working URL.

Good luck.
