It looks like with the sysfsutils 2.1.0 the bug with pmount is again there.
Error: device /dev/sdb2 is not removable
After reemerginng sysfsutils 1.3.0 and pmount, the device can be mounted.

How to reproduce: add an usb disk and try to mount it with pmount.
Perhaps it's related to the kernel, I'll invsetigate further.
