Description Ralph Hartley 2007-12-11 17:12:20 UTC
I accidentally unmerged glade-2 with emerge --depclean, which would also have unmerged any unlisted dependencies (listed ones as well, but there are none missing). Since glade-3 appears to have usability issues, I'm trying to get glade-2 back.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
emerge -v dev-util/glade:2

Actual Results:
Tail end of compile showing error:

Same error on amd64.
Comment 2 Gilles Dartiguelongue (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-12-11 23:44:09 UTC
possibly, it doesn't like the newest bonobo macros. What are the issues with glade-3 ? Is it something not reported here or upstream ? If so, I'd suggest to bring this up upstream.
Comment 3 Mart Raudsepp gentoo-dev 2007-12-11 23:58:37 UTC
glade-2.12.2 was released 2 days ago and it fixes precisely this.
Comment 4 Saleem Abdulrasool (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-12-12 03:32:43 UTC
Bumped to dev-util/glade-2.12.2 which should fix this issue.

Lots of little things, some are reported upstream (I don't have time to look for them all). Some are even fixed upstream, but for now I still need glade-2.

In any case, problems with glade-3 are not part of this bug.

I have verified that this bug is fixed in dev-util/glade-2.12.2
