Description Alessandro 2007-12-11 11:13:48 UTC
I emerged kivio, and when I run it I get this error:
koffice (lib kofficecore): ERROR: kiviopart.desktop not found.
koffice (lib kofficecore): ERROR: Run 'kde-config --path services' to see which directories were searched, assuming kde startup had the same environment as your current shell.
koffice (lib kofficecore): ERROR: Check your installation (did you install KOffice in a different prefix than KDE, without adding the prefix to /etc/kderc ?)
Comment 1 Wulf Krueger (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-12-11 19:39:24 UTC
Please *always* add your "emerge --info" and the output of "emerge -pv kivio". Once you did that, re-open this bug.

Comment 3 Alessandro 2007-12-15 12:04:10 UTC
It seems that it could be a common problem of koffice components, both kchart and kspread have the same problem.

Comment 5 Carsten Lohrke (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-12-22 21:43:44 UTC
This should only happen when you toyed with KDEDIRS. What's the output of `env | grep KDEDIRS`?
