There is a corresponding bug upstream for this. Thanks for the report. I have a fix for it upstream, and I will be putting it into the gentoo tree as well.

Committed to portage with -r1.
Comment 4 Mateusz 2007-12-12 18:44:03 UTC
Thx now its work :)
Comment 5 Sam Rest 2008-09-19 01:42:54 UTC
It did not work here, I am trying to build the gentoo 2008.0 system from scratch (form minimal install cd of 80 MB), so far I installed the GDM package but in order to get some functionality I need to install the minimum packages for gnome, and one of them is GNOME-SESSION witch depends on LIBGNOMEKBD . I have libgnomekbd-2.22.0 and that is giving me the error described on this page, and I tried to install a downgrade version, the libgnomekbd-2.20.0-r1 but that also gives me same error.

ANY SUGGESTIONS ????
HELP IS APPRECIATED.

Please open a new bug report so we don't pollute this one.

In the new bug, please attach your emerge --info and the build.log as suggested by portage.

Thanks
