I have gnome-pilot-0.1.71 installed and the evolution ebuild dies with these
errors...  If you need any more info email me.

you have a local version of gnome-pilot installed. its looking in /usr/local which is not done by any of the ebuilds in portage.

remove all the gnome-pilot stuff in your /usr/local
