Description cJ 2007-12-08 20:36:43 UTC
Software for viewing, analyzing, and creating recordings of physiologic signals.

It consists in a library, and applications.

WFDB library :
This is a set of functions (subroutines) for reading and writing files in the formats used by PhysioBank databases (among others). The WFDB library is LGPLed, and can be used by programs written in ANSI/ISO C, K&R C, C++, or Fortran, running under any operating system for which an ANSI/ISO or K&R C compiler is available.

WFDB applications :
A large set of well-tested, interoperable command-line tools for signal processing and automated analysis is included in the app, convert, and psd directories of the WFDB Software Package.
Can be used to import signals easily in scilab...

I don't want this stuff in the main tree, but the science overlay could be interested.

Proposed ebuild.

Hi cJ.

The ebuild has SLOT undefined.
Besides, after half of a year, the new version (10.4.6) is out.
I tested the ebuild on x86 and it works pretty well,
you must change its name, but that's all.

Because it seems that the ebuild is not bad, and the project is
mantained, I think it's not a bad idea to put it into science
overlay (maybe you should remind devs of yourself on gentoo-science
mailing list).

(this is an automated message based on filtering criteria that matched this bug)
'EBUILD' is in the KEYWORDS which should mean that there is a ebuild attached
to this bug.
This bug is assigned to maintainer-wanted which means that it is not in the
main tree.
Heuristics show that no Gentoo developer has commented on your ebuild.

Hello, The Gentoo Team would like to firstly thank you for your ebuild
submission. We also apologize for not being able to accommodate you in a timely
manner. There are simply too many new packages.

Allow me to use this opportunity to introduce you to Gentoo Sunrise. The
sunrise overlay[1] is a overlay for Gentoo which we allow trusted users to
commit to and all users can have ebuilds reviewed by Gentoo devs for entry
into the overlay. So, the sunrise team is suggesting that you look into this
and submit your ebuild to the overlay where even *you* can commit to. =)

Because this is a mass message, we are also asking you to be patient with us.
We anticipate a large number of requests in a short time.

Thanks,
On behalf of the Gentoo Sunrise Team,
Jeremy.

No comments have been made on this bug report for some time.
Is anyone still interested in integration of this package?

If yes, please indicate that here in this bug report.

Otherwise we'll resolve the bug in the near future, since sci(-*) has
an extremely large number of pending package requests and we would like
to focus...
