No offense, but filing a 0day new ebuild request for something that additionally fails to compile it rather annoying.

It compiles with PHP 5.3 snapshots. So when the first snapshots are in portage it can also be added.

should we re-open this thing? mediawiki just told me that it would like pecl-intl  and i would like not to use an overlay just for that..

You get intl by enabling the unicode USE flag for PHP.
