Roundcube (from the webapps-experimental overlay) depends on apache. It's running fine here on lighttpd and their wiki (http://trac.roundcube.net/wiki/Howto_Requirements) says it works fine with lighttpd. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:

Until you tell me how to get it working out of the box without all the .htaccess stuff, it's staying there, sorry. Stick apache into package.provided if you dislike it.
Well, sorry if i'm wrong on this one. I don't really know apache that well. All I know is that I changed nothing form the default installation. In fact, it seems the .htacces isn't in my install. Anyway, from what I see (http://trac.roundcube.net/browser/trunk/roundcubemail/.htaccess?rev=691) there is nothing really useful and in the install from the wiki, it says clearly to delete it if there's a problem. Anyway, I didn't even know about package.provided and it works great for me, so thanks !
