Description Philipp Riegger 2007-12-05 10:16:03 UTC
The mentioned package is fetch restricted, but i could not find it on the location the ebuild is pointing.

Is anybody able to point us to the jaxrpc-1_1-fr-spec-api.zip file? It's entirely unclear where on http://java.sun.com/xml/downloads/jaxrpc.html this file could be downloaded.
Comment 2 Krzysztof Pawlik (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-12-05 18:53:51 UTC
Please try this URL:

http://javashoplm.sun.com/ECom/docs/Welcome.jsp?StoreId=22&PartDetailId=7935-jax_rpc-1.1-fr-class-oth-JSpec&SiteId=JSC&TransactionId=nore

If it works for you I'll update the ebuild.
Comment 3 Philipp Riegger 2007-12-05 19:25:52 UTC
The link says:

Error: The link you clicked on the preceding page is not a valid Download Center request. Please help us resolve this error as soon as possible by contacting the Download Center Customer Service. Please include the preceding url along with the name of the product that you were trying to download.

So, no, it does not work.

My bad - ate last character:

http://javashoplm.sun.com/ECom/docs/Welcome.jsp?StoreId=22&PartDetailId=7935-jax_rpc-1.1-fr-class-oth-JSpec&SiteId=JSC&TransactionId=noreg

Try this (fixed) link.
Comment 5 Vincent van de Camp 2007-12-05 19:42:38 UTC
Your initial URL worked for me (which is the link before you fixed it). I needed to sign in, but since I have an ages old account with sun, I could download the file. It seems to download part of metro-installer.jar as well, but also the zip file that I need, which installed fine, thanks:)
Comment 6 Vincent van de Camp 2007-12-05 19:52:57 UTC
I checked the fixed URL too, which downloads the file as well, without the partial metro-installer.
Comment 7 Krzysztof Pawlik (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-12-05 19:59:47 UTC
Fix commited.
Comment 8 hariseldon78 2008-05-01 01:48:35 UTC
I cannot download that file from the link in the ebuild. anybody knows where to find it now?
Comment 9 Elric Wolfsbruder 2008-05-02 21:37:19 UTC
I am sorry the listed url in the ebuild, and in the comments here does not
work. Where do i get this file from?

Everybody wondering here about the download. I just added a new version that is not fetch restricted any more.
