x11-plugins/gaim-otr-3.0.0-r2 worked fine, though it is masked by ~amd64 thus the stable gaim-otr still failes to emerge - which kind of beats the concept of a stable package
No idea why it was ever stabilized.
it was stabilized because it worked in the past, so I guess it's broken on every arch now (if it is actually broken at all), so the best path would probably beto get 3.0.0 stable and drop 2.0.2, but considering that pidgin-otr-3.0.0 is stable it might just be about time to finally get this completely dropped from the tree CC'ing net-im for opinions
please, please remove the gaim junk already amd64 stable
