Hi! You find attached an ebuild for gnome-launch-box 0.4. This is my first ebuild so I hope it's not that bad and sorry for my mistakes. I made it belong to gnome-extras but may be you prefer another category. Giuseppe

Created attachment 137206 [details] gnome-launch-box-0.4.ebuild Angelo, here is an updated ebuild. Note the following changes: * use of ${P} ${PN} in SRC_URI * more complete list of dependencies (as noted in configure.ac) * src_test fixing (simple intltool errors from upstream) This program looks like a gnome-launch-application++ (alt+f2) but a deskbar--, so given the little problems I noticed during the brief test I gave it on a ~amd64 box, I wonder if there is any argument that would make it worth including (I'm open to proxy-maintaining).
Hi, thanks for being so quick. I've seen and understood you correction except the tests one. If it's not a problem, I'd be available for proxy maintaining.
if you compile with FEATURES="test", emerge will stop because all files having translations are not detailed in POTFILES.in or POTFILES.skip. anything concerning the other point ? (interest)
Why would I like it to be included in portage? Well, there's not a real reason. Doesn't matter anymore. I just wanted to begin with "ebuilding" and I'd like to do it the right way. If you don't find any reason to include it, then don't, the ebuild will be still available here.
@herd, what do you think ? maybe it's better to move this to sunrise ? I don't have a preference.
looks like a good candidate for sunrise
align ebuild requests to same values
gnome-launch-box is nowhere near gnome-do's or deskbar-applet usability. Plus it seems completely abandoned upstream. Closing wontfix but thanks for reporting.
