Description forlorn 2007-11-25 17:49:30 UTC
app-office/kword >= 1.6.3-r1 and kde-base/kpdf >= 3.5.7-r1 refuse to print via cups. Every other printjob works fine from the other apps in kdegraphics >= 3.5.7-r1 or koffice >= 3.5.7-r1. I tested both monolithic and split ebuilds. Same issue.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open KPDF and open a pdf.
2.Start printing via cups.
3.Cups server gets the document but doesn't print as far as the logs show. No error is visible in the logs though.

Actual Results:
No print, KPDF and KWORD show no error though.

Expected Results:
A printed pdf or kword document.

Printing from both applications works just fine for me. Please add your "emerge --info".

Does this happen for you with KDE 3.5.8, too?
Comment 4 forlorn 2008-02-10 10:13:57 UTC
Yeah, with KDE 3.5.8 it's all ok. Problem solved by upgrade.
