Current stable has the annoying bug that the bytecode it installs depends on whether it was built with FEATURES=test or not. Manifests itself as breakage when building proxool with 1.4 JDK (see bug 189343). So requesting 4.3 stable. To verify, try to build dev-java/proxool against it using a 1.4 JDK, having checkstyle emerged with both FEATURES=test and -test.

amd64 stable and confirming this is the solution for proxool.
