I am attempting, but I can't get cdplay to play anything.  It reads the cd, but does not produce any sound.  (With the same CD, if I apply cdparanoia to the CD and then use 'vlc cdda.wav', it plays as expected.)

Until I figure out what is going on, or until someone who knows what he is doing jumps in to resolve this, I can't mark stable because I can't verify.
