a bug may cant be called b bug. if i dont specify fontsize for mlterm or specify fontsize as default 16, i cant use scim in en_US.utf8. there are two ways to fix it. 1. specify zh_CN.utf8 for mlterm: thom@gentoo ~ $ LANG=zh_CN.utf8 mlterm 2. specify fontsize for mlterm: thom@gentoo ~ $ mlterm -w 20 or write in .mlterm/main: fontsize = 20

hmm, I can't reproduce it. $ env XMODIFIERS=@im=SCIM LANG=en_US.utf8 mlterm (without .mlterm/*) works fine on my gentoo. Could you put here your `emerge --info` and version of scim? and, what IMEngines do you use?
