Description Luc Stepniewski 2007-11-21 16:25:23 UTC
When compiling net-analyzer/honeyd, I get the following error:

analyze.c:55:19: erreur: evdns.h : Aucun fichier ou répertoire de ce type

Reproducible: Always

evdns.h is included in dev-libs/libevent version 1.3+. So there should be a dependency on it.

Upgrade your system properly, using --deep...

Luc, are you sure that >=1.3 is the correct version? It seems to me that libevent-1.2 already had required header. Look:

# libevent-1.2.tar.gz [GPG Sig] - Release 2006-10-15

    * Support for non-blocking DNS resolution; from Adam Langley and Nick Mathewson.
    * Support for lightweight HTTP clients and servers.
    * Support for Sun's Event Ports from David Pacheco of Sun.

And seems that this header was already there:
http://levent.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/levent/trunk/libevent/evdns.h?view=log

What do you think about this?

Well. I've updated to >=dev-libs/libeven-1.2. In case I'm wrong reopen, please.
