as in summary.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. boot up a box that has firewire with the 1.4rc4 livecd
2. plug in a dv camera, modprobe dv1394
3. rmmod dv1394

Actual Results:  
got an oops. couldn't capture it at the time tho.

Expected Results:  
should have removed the module fine.

it's the livecd, no emerge here.

and this came from a dev... 
 
its a vanilla kernel issue, later releases should fix
