Description Diego Elio Pettenò (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-11-19 15:23:10 UTC
Hi,

I know I'm no more in Ruby herd, but as the new version of http-access2 is more than an year old now, and I'm needing it for my Bugzilla rbot plugin, I'd be grateful if it could be marked stable, also on amd64 where the stable tree misses http-access2 altogether.

I'll also file a bug with an ebuild for httpclient, that is the upstream replacement for http-access2 (with backward compatibility).

Thanks,
Diego

CCing arches as I'm gonna take care of the transition too, trying to alleviate some of Ruby herd's bugs ;)

AMD64 you're CCed... because I need it stable :P PPC64, if you want to follow the rest. x86 and IA64 got the old version stable instead.

Thanks guys.

amd64,

mv: cannot stat `/var/tmp/portage/dev-ruby/http-access2-2.0.6/image///usr/lib64/ruby/site_ruby/1.8/*': No such file or directory

It doesn't die to that, but installs

/usr/lib64/ruby/site_ruby/1.8/http-access2/http.rb
/usr/lib64/ruby/site_ruby/1.8/http-access2/cookie.rb
/usr/lib64/ruby/site_ruby/1.8/http-access2.rb
/usr/share/doc/http-access2-2.0.6/README.txt.bz2
/usr/share/doc/http-access2-2.0.6/html/sample/ssl/htdocs/index.html

So if it's something dumb ruby eclass does, and this is still correct. Cosmetics.

-> Flameeyes please mark it stable for amd64 after checking.

Consider this obsoleted in favour of bug #203456.
