As of Nov 07 2007 there is a new version (0.4) of the sys-libs/libixp ebuild, which is needed for the latest wmii. http://www.suckless.org/download/libixp-0.4.tar.gz I tried to make an ebuild on my own, but the Makefile structure has significantly changed, so a new patch seems to be needed to create a shared-object library again. regards, Thomas
Ah, thank you for the bug report! I have been waiting for a new version of libixp for quite some time, as the current one is not compatible with the newer wmii snapshots, as far as I could tell. Unfortunately, I will be extremely busy over the next few days, so I might have to put this off for a bit. I apologise for this, but I'll attempt to get to it as soon as possible.
Okay. It turns out I actually had some time to get this done. While the ebuild is most likely not perfect, it installs fine and the new wmii release successfully compiled against it. Therefore, I went ahead and committed what I have so far. Thank you for the bug, Thomas. Feel free to report back if you notice any mistakes on my part. :)
