Description Boyd Waters 2003-04-24 14:14:47 UTC
When launching ooffice or any components, error messages complain about a missing file:

.openoffice/1.1_beta/user/config/registry/instance/org/openoffice/Setup.xml': No such
file or directory

The file is now located at

$OOHOME/user/registry/data/org/openoffice/Setup.xcu

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.

OK, I have FIXED this problem.

There is no file "Setup.xml"; the file is called "Setup.xcu".

You can edit the /usr/bin/ooffice script: replace the line that sets the SETUPFILE variable
with this:

Code:
 SETUPFILE="$OOHOME/user/registry/data/org/openoffice/Setup.xcu"

 Then:
 1. Quit OpenOffice (if it is running)
 2. remove your ~/.openoffice/1.1_beta dir
 3. remove the OpenOffice.org line from ~/.sversionrc
 4. re-start openoffice
 5. quit OpenOffice
 6. fix the capital "B" in "Beta" in ~/.sversionrc
 7. re-start OpenOffice

..and it should launch without error messages.
