I tried making an ebuild for this package, but it seems to need a much older version of rpm. Newer 4.4.x and 5.x don't package the same headers files as it accepts.

It creates deltarpms and applies them without trouble for me. makedeltaiso gives me a segfault. deltarpm-3.3 also segfaults (this think this might be an upstream bug). The ebuild does not work with rpm5 (failed on compile), but it is masked, so it should is not "a problem". I will test more and let you know if something else does not work.

Yeh, require <=rpm5. Many packages have yet "sync" with rpm5. thanks for the deltarpm-3.4 ebuild.
