Tested net-irc/bitchx and found it built fine and basic functionality works (able to login to server, and communicate). Used a portage overlay with ia64 to test this. Request: Add ~ia64 so it's no longer hard masked. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. N/A 2. 3.
Well, it segfaults for me. Can you post your emerge --info?
Strange... Was there perhaps something that I didn't test? I was able to connect to an IRC server (efnet), join a channel, send a message, and quit. I'm pulling my packages off my main server to reduce rsync and package bandwidth....
