The clvm configure script bails out on utmpx.h. It seems if the check is disabled the code configures and compiles cleanly. utmpx.h is provided by uclibc in /usr/include/bits. We are talking about an innocent ac_local check. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
'cleanly' is relative I found out after changing the ebuild, breaks clvmd-gulm.c that wasn't enabled manually. So I guess this will become a 'upstream' for uclibc for supporting utmpx.h.
should be fixed with uclibc 0.9.30.1
