Attached an ebuild for the grandr applet, from the description:

GrandrApplet is a GNOME panel applet for quickly changing display
resolution and orientation. You need at least XFree86 4.3 with the
xrandr extension for it to work.

yeah, i have this local as well. But i'm more waiting for the gnome settings stuff and a bit reluctant to add this. I think having it in one place should be enough.

am i correct in saying that we're waiting for 2.4 for this (i know it was in the control-center in 2.3), and that we wont be adding the grandr-applet, hence we can close this ?

we are not adding this because it seems unmaintained, it never got further than this release and the 2.4 control-center will have a better integrated solution to do the same thing.

I like grandr, is easy change form panel, I can maintain this ebuild
