Description Ali Polatel (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-11-06 06:48:35 UTC
cgkit-2* has been in the tree since 15 Feb 2007 and it has no open bugs.
cgkit-1* is the only thing that depends on the old version of ogre and we plan
to remove it after this stabilization.
x86, please test and mark stable dev-python/cgkit-2.0.0_alpha7
Comment 1 Christian Faulhammer (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-11-10 13:34:15 UTC
I am not able to build dev-games/ogre-0.15* on x86, so I can only test without USE=ogre. cgkit is fine, but what about the failing ogre? mr_bones_, will you debug it or should I just ignore the failure?
Comment 2 Mr. Bones. (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-11-10 23:09:54 UTC
I want to get rid of ogre-0. That version is very old and nothing else uses it except cgkit. Nothing uses cgkit in the tree so I even lean towards punting cgkit completely unless someone really cares about it.
Comment 3 Christian Faulhammer (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-11-11 12:07:45 UTC
Maybe punt ogre support for cgkit.
Comment 4 Christian Faulhammer (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-11-13 06:55:49 UTC
So for now cgkit stable for x86, this is no regression, but Ali, you may think of removing ogre support.
Comment 5 Mr. Bones. (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-11-13 07:00:49 UTC
I definitely support the idea of removing ogre support.
