my cross distcc setup fails during emerge of scummvm.
it quickly throws an 
--   emake || die "emake failed"   -- error message.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.setup distcc/crosscompile for a i586 arch.
2.emerge scummvm
3.fails



Expected Results:  
successful crosscompile or at least automatic local compile.

client: i586
servers: amd64

i havent actually tested it as i dont use distcc, but the build system isnt really anything special so i dont see why it would fail

re-open with real error messages rather than just saying "it fails"
