Here's the list: * * Detected file collision(s): * * /usr/bin/bg5latex * /usr/bin/bg5conv * /usr/bin/cef5latex * /usr/bin/ceflatex * /usr/bin/cefslatex * /usr/bin/cef5conv * /usr/bin/cefconv * /usr/bin/cefsconv * /usr/bin/bg5+latex * /usr/bin/gbklatex * /usr/bin/extconv * /usr/bin/sjislatex * /usr/bin/sjisconv * /usr/bin/hbf2gf * /usr/share/man/man1/hbf2gf.1.bz2 They belong to both. Perhaps one should block the other like tetex does texlive?? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. USE=cjk

I just filed the same bug as requested by aballier in bug #195815 comment #67 :D Additional information from bug #198150: >It seems that texlive-core is providing already the functionality of cjk-latex. >I suggest to add DEPEND="!app-text/texlive-latex" to cjk-latex ebuild. > >I ran into this issue emerging grisbi. grisbi depends on dev-tex/latex-unicode >which pulls in cjk-latex if USE=cjk. So it needs to be check as well whether >latex-unicode can DEPEND="|| ( app-text/textlive-latex dev-tex/cjk-latex )" > >Reproducible: Always > >Steps to Reproduce: >1. emerge app-text/texlive >2. USE="cjk" emerge grisbi >3. observe file collision BR, Dustin
ok I bumped cjk-latex to latest version, removed cjkutils from texlive-core-2007-r8, removed relevant stuff from texlive-langcjk and made texlive-2007-r3 depend on cjk-latex with cjh useflag. Now we'll use cjk-latex ebuild for cjk stuff instead of building them in the -core package; that lead me to drop alpha/ia64 keyword unfortunately.
~alpha/~ia64 done, closing.
