After upgrading Cyrus to 2.3.9-r20 on kolab 2.1, we started experiencing an issue with Outlook clients running the Toltec connector. They would receive errors like this one:

"Unable to set the IMAP4 mailbox ANNOTATION for the folder '_Saved items/EDC'. The IMAP4 error message 'RNT140 NO Permission denied'."

I contacted Toltec and after going back and forth with them a few times by email, sent them my /etc/cyrus.conf file. Here is their last message:

"I cannot see the "annotation_definitions" field. This is needed for Cyrus 2.3.7+ in order to process annotations."

As an additional note, I checked the /etc/kolab/templates/cyrus.conf.template and didn't see the field there either.

It should be in the imapd.conf file not cyrus.conf

Do you use the new overlay at overlays.gentoo.org? I think it should be fixed.

Please reopen if the problem persists after resyncing and re-installing kolabd.
